Known for his passion and love for humanity and community development, Turay's ascendancy to the chieftaincy and throne of Kalanthuba Chiefdom has been a long-time prophecy. He wasn't only destined to rule Kalanthuba but also chosen by God and his ancestors to redeem the Chiefdom and its people from perpetual suffering and bondage.
Kalabthuba, a Limba-dominated Chiefdom in Tonkolili District, has gone through pains; the pains of bad leadership, poverty, corruption, and the like.
In the face of the aforementioned ordeals, Kalanthuba and its people have been waiting for a leader who will not only steer the affairs of the Chiefdom but also take them to the promised land. A leader who understands their ongoing plights, a focused-minded leader with a vision to move forward.
The Chiefdom and the people have waited for too long to see and have their own Paramount Chief. The people have waited for a long time for Daniel Sara Turay.
The people of Kalanthuba not only waited because they wanted a Paramount Chief, but it was because they had gone through a lot of agonies and needed someone to address their problems.
Recently, the local government ministry announced the 27th of March 2025 as the official date for Kalanthuba Chiefdom Paramount Chieftaincy elections. The announcement brought joy to every son and daughter of Kalanthuba Chiefdom.
It was because this was the time for Kalanthuba people to decide their future and destiny after all that they had gone through. It's time for the man destined by God and the ancestors to ascend to the throne.
With a plethora of developmental projects in his name, it is no longer a secret that Daniel Sara Turay was the man the people of Kalanthuba Chiefdom had been waiting for.
In his quest to see his people and Chiefdom grow, Turay has sacrificed opportunities, valuable connections, family love, and some of his loved ones. Turay is the sacrificial lamb sent by God to free Kalanthuba and its people from perpetual suffering.
As the elections draw nearer, it is evidently clear that Daniel Sara Turay is not only Kalanthuba's next Paramount Chief but also the one the people have been waiting for. His leadership will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Council of Paramount Chiefs in Tonkolili District.
An advocate for attitudinal change and community empowerment, Turay is a catalyst for peace and unity, and he has touched countless lives. His commitment to the progress of communities and people around him has placed him in the highest cadre of respect and popularity among his peers.
It's time for the Tribal authorities of Kalanthuba Chiefdom to choose hope over fear and ensure the prophecy is fulfilled. It's time for every son and daughter of Kalabthuba to reflect on the past, pray for the present, and hope for a brighter future as well as renew their commitment and efforts in joining Daniel Sara Turay to build the only Chiefdom they can proudly call theirs.
March 27th, 2025, is not only an election date in Kalanthuba Chiefdom but also a day of freedom and the fulfilment of a long-time destiny and prophecy.
